IELTS

Listening-> It is 30 minutes test with four recordings having 40 questions, and each question worth one mark.

Recording 1: Conversation between two people

Recording 2: Monologue about local services

Recording 3: Group discussion

Recording 4: Monologue about academic paper

Reading-> It is 60 minutes test having 40 questions, and each question worth one mark to evaluate reading skills.

IELTS Academic test -> It comprises article material taken from Academic journals, books, magazines and newspapers.

IELTS General Training test –> It comprises daily life material picked from general journals, books, and material based on real time situations.

Writing-> It is 60 minutes test having two tasks.

IELTS Academic test ->

Task1: A graph, table, chart or diagram is provided and asked to write in your own words. Formal writing is followed there.

Task2: Essay writing on a given view, issue, argument or a problem. Writing style is formal.

IELTS General Training test –>

Task1: It is writing a letter requesting information on given situation. Writing may be formal or semi-formal.

Task2: It includes write an essay in response to a problem, view or an argument. Informal style is adopted there.

Speaking-> It lasts for 11 to 14 minutes, having three sections. It is a face to face interview.
